- The frontal low pressure that made landfall across the Carolinas on Monday is bringing scattered heavy rainfall across southern and central Virginia, southern West Virginia, and eastern Kentucky where incidents of flash flooding cannot be ruled out. Tropical development of this system is no longer possible due to the landfall.
